Printing envelopes on a new Dell A940

I just purchased a new system & this A940 all-in-one printer from Dell.  Hooked up the printer and letters printed fine.  Do I have to remove the paper each time that a print an envelope?  I tried to print the envelope with and without the paper and slid the paper guide like the manual said but nothing prints on the envelope.  I was on hold with Dell this am for 2 1/2 hour total and I am not a happy camper!  I print letters and envelopes every day and I cannot be removing the paper each time I print an envelope!  Help!  I even reinstalled the drivers etc.  What can I do?

Lmax,

Since the A940 has only 1 paper path, I would say that you have to remove the paper when printing envelopes.  What program are you using to print your envelopes?  I use Microsoft Word to print envelopes and haven't had any problems (except when I forgot to move the paper guide.)
