Media Direct software DVD playback issue

my direct media software plays dvd videos a split second to fast and audio is still in sync, its not an issue with other players such as windows media player and vlc.

Any suggestions, i want to solve this so i can get some blu-rays and play them normally without going out to buy powerdvd ultra which is over priced!
