Problems With Dell PC Tuneup And Vista

Am I the only one having problems with Dell PC Tuneup?? After purchasing and installing it 2 monthes ago I have had to do factory image restore twice and finally tracked the problem down to dell pc tune up removing key registry items for various programs including windows media player. Making these programs inoperable and slowing my 4 month old pc down to the point of only starting in safe mode.
