"Dell Support 3"

I recently received a Dimension 8250 from a friend to use until I buy a new machine next year. I stumbled across the "Dell Support 3" tool. I started to download it but thought I'd see if anyone has regretted doing so. It would appear to be a helpful tool, but I've learned to check 1st before blindly assuming that all factory offers are a "good thing".
