Hello

There are many potential issues that would cause POST to stall on that message. If nothing changed on the server then I would drain flea power. Disconnect the power cables for about 1 minute to drain flea power. If the issue persists then clear NVRAM via jumper. You can find information about jumpers in the system manual on the server support page.

http://www.dell.com/support/

If this issue started after adding hardware to the system then disconnect that hardware. The hardware may be faulty or incompatible.

Thanks

Hello Please we are facing a similar issue. The server DELL R530 does random reboot. We tried to update the firmware. The process was not finish and the server has reboot . After that we got an error on bios loading drivers and it's stuck there. What can i do please.

I lost power yesterday and ever since it was restored my PowerEdge T330 gets stuck on Loading Bios Drivers. To make matters worse, my USB ports do not work either, so I can't enter the bios setup (because my keyboard is connected via USB) or startup using a USB drive. I have tried hard resetting and removing and re-installing the CMOS battery. Please help!

I'm having the same issue with a PowerEdge T330 and have tried your suggestions and it still hands on the Loading Bios Drivers screen. To make matters worse, none of my USB ports work. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hello,

Please try to power drain, minimum to post configuration and clear the NVRAM. NVRAM clear might helpful to resolve this issue.
min2post
•System board
•One power supply unit
•One processor (CPU) in socket CPU1
•One memory module (DIMM) installed in socket A1
•Left control panel (for power button functionality)
•One backplane card

About RACADM you can try to disable CSIOR or LCC but I'm not sure these two steps are useful.

with SSH session to the iDRAC
Enable / Disable LCC

Disable: racadm set LifecycleController.LCAttributes.LifecycleControllerState 0

Enable: racadm set LifecycleController.LCAttributes.LifecycleControllerState 1

Collecting System Inventory https://dell.to/3cb5Kpk
The CSIOR setting is enabled by default and it can be disabled locally by using Lifecycle Controller or remotely with WS-MAN. You can change the settings to one of the following:
Enable — Hardware inventory and configuration information is collected on every system restart. Collecting system inventory may affect the boot time depending on the hardware present in the system.
Disable — Hardware inventory and configuration information will not be collected on every system restart. The usage of many features depend on the inventory information updates. Features such as Easy Restore and Part Replacement may not contain the latest information when CSIOR is disabled. In-band tools such as OMSA and DTK cannot configure BIOS when CSIOR is disabled. Also, system information reported from out-of-band interfaces such as WS-MAN and RACADM may not have correct information.

If you already did those troubleshooting steps I would be suspect motherboard failure.

Hope that helps!

Which RACDM command will help me see the entire server boot process via SSH?

Hi, I'm not aware of any command for monitoring boot process via RACADM. Might be you can check this out https://dell.to/3JaWr5q but it's for 14G-15G.

I couldn't find similar command for idrac8 in this doc https://dell.to/3cHpvoY

You can check POST code in iDRAC GUI to see the boot status.
