correctable memory error rate exceeded for dimm_b5

We have a PowerEdge T630 server in which is installed Debian 8.We had a power cut and since then the server shows correctable memory error rate exceeded for dimm_b5 and we are unable to login to the system
Does anyone have any idea of how we can solve this problem ???

Hello,

I would shut the server off, unplug it, then hold the power button down for 30 seconds. Once that is done, swap B5 with A5. This way you can reseat the DIMM and test the slot with another stick that isn't having issues. This will help identify the problem component, in case something needs replacing. Power it back up and see if the AC cycle helped with the error. If you have access to the iDRAC, clearing the logs may help, also.
