VNX now asking for RPRealm login since upg RPAs to 5.0.1
We successfully upgraded our four RPAs to 5.0.1
Now when we login to our VNX storage arrays we are met with a Java login screen that wants us to Login to the RPRealm.
What is that?
I had a live chat with EMC and was told this is the RP software on the VNX trying to login to the RPAs in the attached cluster. And RP 5.0.1 no longer supports or uses that.
VNX 5300 is using OE 05.32.000.5.225
VNX 5400 is using OE 5.33.009.5.186
What do we have to do to get rid of that nagging login screen?

There's a workaround for this issue, open a SR with support and state RP BZ146289.
Hope that helps,

Accessing the VNX 5300 Unispehere from a Windows 7 workstation, running Java Version 8 Update 144 (build 1.8.0_144-b01)
About the only version of Java I can get to work with this version of EMC Unisphere...1.2.32

SR has been open since last week. I added your suggestion as a note to the SR and will wait to see if it solves the issue. Thank you

Idan...by any chance, would you have a link to that RP document that I can download and read?

The procedure has to be driven via Support which is why Idan referenced the bug #. It is not something that can be performed by customers.

I would consider turning RP off within VNX Unisphere by contacting support using the bug number provided as reference. The integration has been deprecated in favour of using RecoverPoint Unisphere.
