shared 10g NICs and vlans for XtremIO iscsi connectivity and vRPA ESXi splitter connectivity
I have a customer who has ESXi hosts with 10g interfaces. They would like to reduce the # of vlans required for a combination XtremIO and RP for VM setup. Question...
To simplify things, and provided i don't use all the bandwidth, can I share splitter iscsi activity and prod iscsi host activity on a 10g network (dual subnets)?

In general yes just keep in mind utilization and HA. Also make sure the vmk ports being used for the software iSCSI adapter are setup without NIC teaming and on the same broadcast domain as the vRPA iSCSI ports. Are they using port binding with xtremIO or without port binding? I would like to find out more about the configs.
Please email me directly.
