Replication Manager + VNX + Federated Jobs
Hello,
I am trying to run Replication Manager with VNX Snapview Snaps.
Filesystem Snaps are working fine when I make a Snap of a single source LUN from a single Host.
When I want to make a Application Set with for example 2 LUNs from 2 different hosts I get a error message (see attachment1).
But the Application Set is built so far.
The main problem is that when I want to create a job on this App Set I get the next error message (attachment 2).
Is this true that I can make this only with Symmetrix Storage?
Because on the VNX I can make a Snapview Session with more LUNs from different hosts, this is not the problem.
Is this a limitation of Replication Manager perhaps?

I have found the following in the RM Product Guide:
You can configure Replication Manager to replicate only those
components of the federated environment that are located on Symmetrix
storage arrays.
So looks like this is only possible with Symmetrix Storage.
In my oppinion this is a big disadvantage of RM.......
