Missing messages, Corrupt Content Cache
Hi,
One of the archive folder status is showing yellow triangle with exclaimation mark within and the status shown as missing messagesm corrupt content cache. I have tried to reindex the folder without success and the event viewer shown
"Failed to Unpack Msg: F:\EMC SourceOne Work\ExIndexTemp\archive_201101_001\4EA285708F8EE7C56B622867D5BC1219BE0A4B57A5A93AEF00.emcmf (0x86042B1B) [ExAsIdxObj.exe, IdxRebuild.cpp(944).IndexThread::ReBuildVolIndex] "
Any clue on how to fix this?
Our Environment :
- Sourceone 6.6
- SQL 2005
- Windows 2003 sp 2
- Exchange 2003

I suggest opening a support case.

Did this ever get sorted? I'm seeing an issue very similar and we've only had SourceOne installed a week!

If this has not been solved, I highly recommend upgrading to SourceOne 6.6 SP1
SP1 greatly improves the reliablity and integrity of SourceOne Indexes.
Good Luck.

Hi,
at first I would check if all volumes are closed for the month 201101. If not this needs to be fixed before indexing. If all volumes ar closed check if you got a incompletecontentcache.idx file in the index set dir and check the content. There supposed to be a MsgID and search for this one using websearch and SQL. Seems to be that there is something missing.
Otherwise I agree that you should open a case as this might be a bit complex.
