Audio and Video Sync Problem Burning DVD with Roxio
I sometimes have a problem burning DVDs. The audio and video get out of sync. That means when someone speaks the sound of the voice does not coincide with the mouth moving. Has anybody seen this? Any suggestions? It's a new Dell PC. I've spent 4 hours on the phone with Dell's technical support. They were no help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Oh one other piece of information, the DVD is the NEC ND-110A, Firmware:10FD, that I've seen others have problems with. Has anyone experienced the audio/video synchronization problem?
I would like to complain about Dell Technical support. I've purchased 3 Dell Computers over the pase 10 years. One of the main reasons I've purchase from Dell has been the outstanding Technical Support. Well Technical Support doesn't exist anymore. I spent 4 hours on hold. I called hardware (No Help), was sent to software (No Help), then back to Hardware (No Help), and finally back to Software (No Help). I've Emailed Dell and recieve responses that have nothing to do with my problem.
I've complained repeatedly to Dell, no one seems to care. So here I am on this board complaining and hoping someone has seen a similar problem. At this point Dell's Technical support will be a negative the next I purchase a PC. I'm fed up.
Has anyone else noticed a decline in Dell's Technical Support?

Answers to your questions (Questions in Blue) is as follows:
What software are you using to produce the files written to a recordable DVD? Roxio VideoWave Movie Creator Version 1,6,676. It has the latest patch.
What is the source of the files you are inputting into that program? DV, from Sony Video Camera. I've tried the video camera on another PC/DVD burner, NO problem.
As a side note I went to the CNET DVD Burner Software user rating page for Roxio VideoWave software. This software had ~77% negative rating (Out of 52 respondents). Many of the Dell customers had the same problem with audio/video sync problems. Yet when I contact Technical support they act like I'm the very 1st person to experience this problem.
I'm about to throw it in the garbage, buy a stand alone DVD recorder and be done with it. Of course the next PC I buy will probably NOT be a Dell.
