BTS Failed

This morning my Inspiron worked fine.  This afternoon though it messed up; I ran diagnostics and it said the BTS failed.  Sometimes it will appear like it is about to work, but then when it tries to load my personal setting the entire thing freezes up.  I still have warranty on my computer; what should I do?  Is there anyway to fix it myself without going through all the trouble?
