Backup CD?

I've done the search for the backup and continuously see this Dell backup CD for the XP computers. Well, I evidently didn't receive one with my computer. All I received was this Power DVD and a Drivers and Utilities for reinstalling V.92(Data/fax modem softward).

I have the home 2600 sp 2

If you have a new Dell computer, then you will have to create the XP reinstallation CD, if this fails, then call Dell's Technical Support for the CD to be shipped to you.

Thanx for the assistance.

There's a problem with that site though. In the instructions it says to go to Start-All Programs-Dell Accessories-"Dell OS Recovery CD".................this is where the problem starts.

Under Dell Accessories, the only thing there is "Service Agreement" and there is nothing to click to agree with it which would allow you to proceed as #3 asks you to do. "Click Yes, I accept if you aggre to the terms" isn't anywhere to be found. It's just the express service code that is with Dell Accessories. Beneath "DELL" alone it has an agreement yet nothing to click on in agreement.

No problem, you will have to contact Dell's Technical Support and the XP reinstallation CD should sent to you, free of charge.
