Big problem with XPS M1530
Hi There,
I have a serious problem with my laptop. Since few days, when I leave my computer with no action during few minutes; I heard 2 "bips" and the screen become all black. An erro message apears :
Internal
No bootable devices--strike F1 to retry boot, f2 for setup utility
Press f5 to run onboard dignostics.
Do someone know if it's solvable or if it's a component problem ? I removed Vista from my M1530 and I have XP pro SP2 right now.
Any idea ?
Cheers,
Pyves

Hi, Pyves:
Sorry if these seems incredibly obvious, but what you should do is "press F5 to run the on-board diagnostics".

Ok, this could be an issue with your hard drive. What you'll need to do is follow the instructions in your manual to run the Dell diagnostics from your Dell Resource CD.

A belated "welcome" to the forums :emotion-21:
It might sound like 'passing the buck', but if the diagnostics tests don't complete, I'd suggest you need to contact Dell tech support, because there's nothing else forum members can advise you to try, which will help.
