How are you going about creating the data CDs that you are attempting to read in the drive?
If you are using a single brand of CD-R or CD-RW disc, try a different brand of media within the drive. If you place a CD-R disc in the drive, and attempt to create a data CD with your burning software, do you receive a specific error? If so, what is that error?
