CD-RW problems..

Hi,

I have a Dell Latitude 400Mhz laptop with external 24x CD-RW/DVD drive which worked perfectly for burning discs in Win98 SE with Roxio winoncd 6 but i now have upgraded to Win XP Pro now and my drive works ok to read discs but for some reason isn't recongnised as a writer in the software anymore ?

I get the message when Roxio loads up (error retreiving SCSI/IDE bus information no SCSI host adapter found) (CDRTC layer not found. please reinstall application using setup)
