Cannot find CD Drives on 4600
Help! My husband and I share our Dell Dimension 4600 which runs MS Office XP. Up until three days ago, I had two cd drives from which to choose from. Now, they are non existent on my system. Nothing appears under "My Devices" except for the floppy disk option. What should I do?

Go to the Windows Device Manager, uninstall the drives, restart Windows and see if Windows detects them and reinstalls them. In many cases that will fix the problem.
If that doesn't fix it, post back as there are several other steps that can be taken (more detailed).
