Cloning off a RAID 0 disk to a non RAID replacement?

I would like to change my older XPS Gen3 system (XP Pro with 2 x 400 gb Hitachi HDD in a RAID 0 array) to a non RAID

system with a new 2 TB HDD.   Can I use something like Acronis True Image to make a sector backup image, then restore that to a new non RAID hard disk, and expect

it to boot right up?  I'd like to avoid the full file backup, format & parition, reinstall rigamarole if possible.  True Image sees the RAID array as a single C: drive just fine.

Other questions: I see two hidden partitions on my RAID drive c: - one about 47 meg, the other 6 gb.  What are these?  I would guess the larger one is some kind of hidden PC restore

partition, but I thought XPS gaming machines weren't equipped with restore partitions.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
