Cyberlink problem
In January, I replaced my DVD writer and with the package came Cyberlink Power to Go 4.
I noticed that my Media Player music files were about 80% converted to Cyberlink Power DVD 6..the rest remained WMP files - no problem.
This week, I got a message that the '30 day trial is over', contacted Cyberlink and was asked to photograph the DVD (despite giving the CD code from the disc and being registered as a Silver member on their website).
Did this and received a link to download 'OEM2CH.1417'...started this with some difficulty and found it was over 300MB and 1 hour 35 minute download on my Broadband connection...as the existing Cyberlink is around 30MB I cancelled the download and asked for advice - no reply so far.
I then tried to delete the existing program from Add/Remove - not possible - nor from Programs.
Any thoughts? If I do manage to delete Cyberlink, do I risk losing the music files which it stole from WMP? Can I convert the files back to WMP.
