I'm trying to install Win 7 on a Dell Studio 1535 model PP33L, but i don't know what AHCI RAID driver should I choose

Hi superchumbo16c,
Please explain if you are referring to the preinstall driver or the Windows controller driver.

To the windows controller driver I guess. There's Intel ICH8/ICH9 29xx and so on on the Intel chipset driver folder.
I'm not able to select the right one in order to install Win 7.

Maybe the cause of this is that i'm installing from Oct 2010 Windows release and there's no generic SATA controller driver coming with it ?

Windows 7 includes a generic RAID controller driver. One option is to set the controller mode to ATA in the BIOS, load the operating system, then change the mode to RAID later.
