Dell Support Center

I'm using Dell Support Center software on a Vista Ultimate system.

I keep getting the following ERRORS:

FUNNEL SEEK TEST "FAILED"

"RANDOM SEEK TEST "FAILED" "

"TOTAL SECTOR GREATER THAN "ZERO"

"HIGH DISK USAGE"

"HIGH HANDLES USAGE"

I waited on the phone with a Dell technician for over 45min, before i got disconnected.

ANYONE HAVE THE ANSWER OR AN IDEA???

THANK YOU

GREGG

Hi Gregg,

I apologize for the inconvenience, from the error message i understand that it is a Hard drive failure and it needs a replacement.

I request you to private message the system service tag number. To private message, accept my friend request; click on my user name and click start conversation.

Alternatively, you can check warranty status online. Click on the link below: http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/TroubleShooting/ProductSelector

If the computer is not in warranty please contact spare part sales for the pricing information of the Hard drive. I have attached the link for the contact information for spare part sales: sales (the link is for USA):

For any clarifications please feel free to contact me.
