Difference between 8MB and 16MB buffer size???

Question

Hi

Quick question, I'm adding a second internal hard drive (320GB) I' ve found two (can bee seen in the links),

or

they seem identical except for the buffer size. Can anyone just explain the difference (the spec of my machine can be seen bellow) and all i intend to store on the drive is game files (i.e.. Flight sim, bf2142, world in conflict) so would i see a difference in performance?

Thanks for that. When I googled it i got some really strange results, so thanks again. I think I'll go ahead with a 16MB. :)
