sounds like you plugged in a flash drive.

Dell inspiron duo, Windows 7 32 bit.
I got this message when I plugged in a sandisk cruzer u3 flash drive. The message is repeated every time I open the laptop even I haven't plugged in the flash drive.
Yes, I plugged in a sandisk cruzer u3.

Hi Chrischon,
This is the way some flash drives work. Here is a description of how to solve this problem.
These U3 drives are far more troublesome than they're worth. My suggestion would be to remove the U3 function.
