Error: Can't Enter setup. Video Mode 103 is not supported by this video card.

I would like to add an additional HD to my XPS 410.  HD is installed but BIOS does not find it.  When I try to get into BIOs with F2, it says enter setup and then errors out.  By hitting the pause key I was able to find the following msg.

Error:  Can't Enter setup.  Video Mode 103 is not supported by this video card.
I believe this system shipoed with a gefroce 7300 LE.  The monitor is a 19 inch sharp flat panel.

Can you enter setup with out the hard drive connected. Open the box and just unplug it data and power then reboot to see if you can enter setup.

Yes I would unplug both the data and power cables to the newdrive and try a start and see if you can enter BIOS setup.

Doen't matter if the HD is plugged in or not.

Sometimes tech support is the best way.  The main thing is that you are up and going again.

I had unplugged both.

Broke down and chatted with Tech support.

The DVI cable hooked up to the HD tv as a second monitor caused the conflict.  Unplugged the DVI cable . ran the 19inch as vga and got in to complete my setup.
New HD fully operational

Thanks for the suggestions!!!:smileyvery-happy:
