Replace the optical drive, it's toast.

Ok, i run test and it showed me that error on optic drive, and on hard disk everything was ok, but i can't turn on my laptop. When i press power button it turns on and goes into repair mode. How to fix it?

Have you tried replacing the optical drive?

No, i have to buy it.. Could that be connected? If optic drive is broken, could that be reason why my windows wont start?
