Error code 0142
Msg: hard drive 0 slef test unsuccessful. Status 79
Can I restore my data from the hard drive?
What are possible options for me to get it repaired? I guess Warranty expired

Hi Inspironn5010_2010,
That error indicates a hard drive failure. You'll need to replace the hard drive. Whether you can get data off the failed drive is unlikely, but you can try putting it into an external hard drive enclosure and plugging it into another working PC to see if the data is accessible.
