Error message when CD is inserted

When I insert a new blank CD, I get the message "D;/is not accessible. Incorrect function." Any idea what this means and how I can correct it? Thanks

Hi gpost,

Click on the CD/rW link in my post and scroll to Section 100, article 40 and see if this Microsoft article is relevant.

Best Regards

According to the information that I was given, I'm supposed to update my Roxio CD Creator to resolve this problem. I decided to uninstall it entirely, but after re-starting the computer, I'm still getting the same message. Anything else I can try?

Hi gpost,

Run the Dell article on the Upper & Lower Filters, same CD/RW link, Section 12, article 10.

Best Regards

I deleted my Upper Filters and Lower Filters as instructed, restarted my computer and the same error message still appears.

Hi gpost,

Same CD/RW link, review Section 47 and make sure you have completely removed Roxio`s software, a "Clean" uninstall.
Now reinstall Roxio and jump over to their site and apply the latest available update for your version and see if this helps.

Best Regards
