Free Fall Sensor-How to turn on the prompts for it.

I have an M1730 with a free fall sensor hard drive.  I don't get prompts that vibration has been detected if I nudge the computer.  I have a Toshiba computer that prompts me when this happens.  How would I enable the prompt to tell me when these events occur?

I have a M1530 with a 200 GB SATA with Free-Fall sensor, and it doesnt prompt anything as far as i know. What i do know is thats in the event of a person dropping the laptop, the computer will detect the gravitational acceleration ( free-fall) and will disengage the Harddrive read/write arm and put it to the side so that,  when the impact occours, the arm will not scratch the harddrive, and thusly will not corrupt it and damage the data.  As far as i know it won't tell you, but i haven't had it that long so i havent had that experience yet, thankfully.
