At least it is working. Often the drive is destroyed by the wrong Firmware. I always become nervous when flashing Firmware. I only do it if it is really required.
Use the Downloads tab at the top of the page, enter your data and see if there is a Dell Firmware for your drive. If so, you might be able to flash it to that level which will basically remove the one from LGs Site. Good luck.
