Hard Drive Restore & Data Recovery

Hard Drive Crash - The Error may have been caused by a Power Failure while the Windows Operating

                                System was writing a partition.

  1. Unable to complete booting.
  2. Looped into “Safe Mode / Last Set-up Screen”. Can’t break out of loop.
  3. Able to access F12 BIOS set-up and attempt to see if changes to setup would help.Dell Owner’s Manual page 105 Standard Settings.
  4. Run Dell Diagnostics, Hardware passes all diagnosticsAlso Diagnostic Lights at rear of the Tower are green & clean.
  5. Try Windows XP Reinstallation CD. Installation of all drivers ok. Remains stuck when examining hard driveExamining 11440MB Disk 0 at Id0 on buss 0 on atapi
  6. Believe that it is the MBR Master Boot Record path damage. System could not start up – unable to see hard drive.
