Help! Hard drive password invalid. :(
Hi everyone,
I just bought a new Dell Vostro and a OCZ Vertex 128GB SSD. After setting the BIOS to IDE mode and setting up a hard drive password, I installed Windows 7. After installing and restarting a few times I shutdown the computer. Then, when I turned on the computer it asked for the hard drive password only to come back with invalid.
I have tried entering the password I set many times and even tried leaving the password blank.
Please help! Everything was working so well and fast until I shutdown!
How can I remove the password?

Hi DDienes,
You must call Dell to get help with this. Be sure to have proof of ownership handy. For obvious security reasons, they will not help you unless you are the registered owner.
