How to unlock password protected HDD
I have a laptop Dell inspiron N5010 with password protected hard disk. The laptop is dead now (motherboard problem). I dont want to fix it because it is too old. I took the HDD and installed it as secondary drive on my desktop PC, but I cant access it due to the password.
How can I unlock this HDD ?? ( I know the password offcourse)

It needs to be sent to a data recovery specialist with the tools necessary to remove the password.
The password cannot be removed by an end user.

See above - the major data recovery services such as Gillware, Drive Savers, Kroll Ontrack, etc. can remove the password and recover your data.
