IRQ Hard Disk Diagnostic Errors. Disk Needs Replacing??
Hi
After the Studio 15 failed to boot to Windows 7 with disk corruption errors I ran the Boot-up Diagnostics and executed all hard disk tests.
Every test produced similar errors...
0F00:1332 IRQ did not set in time
0F00:0132 IRQ did not set in time
0F00:0632 IRQ did not set in time
0F00:0232 IRQ did not set in time
0F00:0432 IRQ did not set in time
I doubt there's little I can do to rectify these so do I simply need to replace the hard disk? It's 5 months out of warranty.

Hi Wimpler,
Yes, I would have to agree. If you tell me which Studio 15 model you have, I can locate the drive installation instructions.
I hope you have your important files backed up.

Thanks for your post. As I suspected. I've ordered a new drive and will look at installing the old one in a caddy to see what I can rescue. I've already looked and replacing the drive is only a few screws. Reinstalling the operating system and everything is more of a pain. I hope it came with an installation disk. Soon see!
