Inspiron 15 3521 Hard Drive Not Detected when using a Bootable Disk
I have an Inspiron 3521 i3 laptop
I had Windows 8 installed in my Laptop. But I wanted to install UBUNTU with parallel to windows. So I did it using a bootable pen drive. I gave the last 15GB of the last partition(not C) on the hard disk to install ubuntu. But when I complete the installation, it restarted. when restarting a menu came up to choose windows 8 and Ubuntu. When I chose Ubuntu it said "Gave up waiting for the root device". When I selected Windows It said "Error occurred reading the disk volume XXXXX" or something like that.
So I decided to reinstall Windows 8. When i boot from the windows 8 DVD, at the point where we have to chose, to which drive we have to install windows, no drive was shown. (Not at least the whole hard disk as a one disk). Only possible thing I can do is selecting the "load driver" option below. But I don't have the Hard DIsk Driver either.
(I thought if my hard drive was corrupted. but when i run the diagnostics it said "All tests Passed". SO I'm pretty much confident that my Hard Drive isn't corrupted)
Can anyone suggest what should I do? (Because at this moment I can't even format my Hard Disk)

Hi ims94,
Find a bootable utility to wipe all existing partitions then try again. Are you using the Dell Windows reinstall disc?
