Dell Notebook Software is here but appears to be missing on the driver and download page for XP.
1. Install Service Pack 3 (Standalone)
2. Install Dell Notebook Software
3. Install Intel Matrix Storage manager Drivers
4. Install Chipset Drivers
5. Install Video Driver
6. Install Broadcom Drivers
7. Install Conexant Drivers
8. Install Wireless Card
9. Install Touchpad / Pointing Stick
10. Install Webcam Driver and Application if applicable
11. Install Sigmatel Audio Driver
12. Install Dell Quickset Driver appears missing on drivers and download page download Dell Quickset here :
13. Install Diagnostic Drivers
For full reinstall instructions regarding setting up your hard drive with media direct and driver install see here:
Amend steps 2 - 12 with the drivers above May also need to go into the BIOS setup and set the drive to ATA compatible (NOT AHCI). (Press F2 at power-up, to access this, I do not know if this applies to your system).
