Installing Solid State Drive on Vostro 460

I am ordering a Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB SSD to install on my two year old Vostro 460.  From what I understand I need to also order a SATA III cable, and a 2.5" to 3.5" bracket to install the 2.5" SSD into the 3.5" drive bay on the Vostro.  Does anyone know if I also need to order a SATA power cable?  Does the Vostro have an extra unused SATA cable or is this something I need to purchase?  Exactly what will I need to order?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You shouldn't need a power cable, no -- and you can order the drive as part of a desktop upgrade kit that will include the data cable, mounting bracket and screws you'll need (usually it's less expensive to do that than to buy the parts separately).

I've never bought special SATA 3.0 cables of any type. The bracket is needed, however, and I recommend Silverstone's unit, which has all the connection points of a standard 3.5-inch hard drive.
