Lets start with a couple of standard steps: Click on the CD/RW link in my post and scroll to Section 15, article 1; Section 20, article 3. Also try Section 11, article 2 for Clearing the NVRAM. Open the case and reseat the IDE cable going from the motherboard to the back of the drive. Also, there may be a firmwar update available for your drive, hover your mouse over the Desktop Tab above, select the Dimension link, select the Drivers & Downloads link, then choose Dimension, the Gen 3 is listed there.
Best Regards!
God, grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do and the eyesight to tell the difference. CD/RW Link
I Clicked the link at the bottom of the post and did what it said in the articals. I Opened the case and reseated the IDE cable going from the motherboard to the back of the drive. Then I Downloaded a firmwar update available for my drive. It still doesn't work.
