Jumper Positions on WD HDD

I know there is a link to this somewhere but I can't find it.

What are the Jumper positions for a HDD and are they universal?  Also is CS they best slot to use and why?

Just got my HDD and I am going to install this PM.

Dells come from the factory with the jumpers set to Cable Select so it is best to continue using that setting on new hard drive installations.

Click here for Western Digital's support web site.  Look down the list till you find your drive and then select the Jumper Settings option from the listing.

Thanks for the info, if it comes set to Cable Select I'll leave it alone.

WD ships CS as standard from the factory. The label on the drive specifies the position.
