Linear read test -2 failure
My inspiron 1525 is telling me that it has failed the linear read test 2 with an error code of "WHD38-k6n" within the test results it says: "there was an error reading sectors 471685488 through 471689582" Can someone please tell me what this error code means? After upgrading my windows and ms office software i have run into a plethora of problems; the biggest being that i have intermittent internet connectivity. I have called Dell, Microsoft, and Verizon (my internet provider) and no one has given me a straight answer regarding my internet problems. I ran the systems test myself just now and found this error. Please advise.

Unfortunately harddrive has failed the diagnostics and it would require replacement. If the system is under warranty then please contact me through a private message by clicking on my name highlighted in blue. On the next page, click the envelope icon and provide your service tag and contact information so I may access your system records.
