NTLDR is missing after installation of HD in Dimension 8300 Win XP Home
I installed a SATA 250GB WD Caviar 2500JD in my computer as a second drive. My other HD is a EIDE 40GB Maxtor DimondMax Apollo. When I was done installing the new drive I partitioned and formatted the HD. When I rebooted the PC I got a error message NTLDR is missing. The only operating system I ever had on this PC is WIN XP home. I do not have a floppy drive installed in my PC.

See if either of the following articles can help. I would respectfully suggest, that you install a floppy drive in the system, it can be helpful at times.
