Need USB DVD ROM support at boot time.
Hi
I have Dell Power Edge 2600 server with bios version A10.
This server won’t detect “USB DVD ROM” at boot time. I want to install OS using external usb dvd rom. How I can do this?

HI BHANUDAS,
Have you entered the BIOS and changed the boot priority for the USB controller? AND Since the installation disk for the OS has a boot image you typically should not have a problem booting from it if the USB is set as priority 1 in the boot sequence menu.

Hi Sir,
I had entered in BIOS but I could not set “USB External DVD ROM” to first boot device because usb dvd rom option is not in “Boot Sequence” option in BIOS.
Is this because of BIOS version? My BIOS version is A12.
