Need help with replacing an old hard drive.
I recently purchased a new computer. Along with it i bought a bigger faster hard drive. My computer does not have an extra port to install a second drive. How do i send all my information (operating system, files, programs, etc.) from the recently purchased hard drive to the new one? Thanks for the help i appreciate it.

I don't think your questions were all answered, so let me try.
1) You can install a 2nd drive, as per Bev's good instructions.
2) You cannot send your OS, or your Programs, from your old computer's hard drive to your new computer. You MUST reinstall the Programs, and you have no need to do anything with the OS as your new computer has one. If you want to transfer settings like Favorites, emails, etc, you can use Windows Files and Settings Transfer Wizard.
3) If all you want to do is transfer some stuff and NOT permanently install the old hard drive, simply plug it into the middle connector on the CD drive setup, if you have two optical drives detach the one on the middle connector temporarily.

Since the old drive was the boot drive for a different computer, that won't work.
