Not enough disk space.....supposedly
I'm not sure if this is a hardware or software issue but here goes.
I have just bought a new dimension 9200 and I keep getting the following error message when I start AOL.
Not enough disk space
(01-00014)
The amount of available disk space is insufficient to complete the requested task.
When I scroll down the rest of the box it gives me 2 options to try to resolve the problem. Firstly to reset the graphic art allowance to 5mb in the AOL settings menu. It was already set to 60mb so I reduced it to 5mb and restarted AOL and reset the allowance but it didn't work. Secondly it said to try cleaning the hard drive, again tried that but it didn't work.
The box disappears after trying to click it off 5 or 6 times, after that AOL works normally. I have been in touch with AOL and they told me there was nothing wrong with AOL so it must be the computer. They could only suggest defragging, so I tried that, but to no avail.
I am running windows Vista Business 32 bit and the computer is only a few days old so it obviously has enough disk space. This message has been there from the first time I set up AOL. Any ideas on how to get rid of this annoying problem, thanks.
