PLDS DVD+ -RW DH-16AAS has a driver problem

This error message resulted from running the Windows7 troubleshooter after two programs failed to recognize the CD/DVD drive. First iTunes said "disc burner or software not found" and then Honestech VHS to DVD Deluxe v5 failed to see drives in the CD/DVD drive. I tried to download the driver from Dell but there isn't one. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have a Dell Inspiron 560 from March, 2010.
