Parallel ATA Drive in a SATA computer?

I know just enough to get myself in trouble!  I finally ditched the system I built myself and bought a Dimsension e510, with plans to take my hard drive from my old system (with all of my data) and pop it in as a slave on my new one.  But when I opened the new system, I noticed that the old parallel ATA interface cable is no longer there--just a single cable that I now think is a "SATA" cable. 
 
Is it still possible for me to use my old hard drive as a slave (Hitachi Deskstar 3.5" 250GB 7200RPM Parallel ATA internal hard drive) in my new system?
 
I'm feeling a bit like a fool because this hard drive is pretty new and has all my stuff on it.  I didn't really need to get the new system, but now that I have, I would like to be able to use my perfectly good hard drive and get to all my data!  Is there still a way to make this work?

In the future, by using the Advanced Forum Search on the bottom of this page, you can quite easily find the answer to this often asked question.  Answered daily.
 
Yes, if you have only one optical (CD/DVD) drive, you can add it on the middle plug, or you have to buy a Promise card to get two more IDE ports (good for 4 drives).
