Primary Drive 1 Not Found
Trying to restore a family member's Dimension 3000. Got XP back up and running and most of the drivers updated. I also upgraded the bios to A03.
Everytime this PC boots, right after the bios copyright splash screen, it gives the error:
Primary Drive 1 not found
Press F1 to Continue or F12 for boot options
Pressing F1 then results in Windows booting.
All HD tests pass with flying colors and I cannot find anything wrong with the drive- just cannot figure out why it won't boot directly into windows.
Thanks!

Hi MOCR92,
Just press "F2" during POST (Dell logo screen) to enter the system bios. Go to hard disk management and set Primary Drive 1 to "OFF".
These aren't AUTO, so if you have it turned on with no drive connected to that port then it will error. Primary Drive 0 is your Windows drive.
