Primary hard disk drive failure

Help....While downloading and uninstalling a new and old printer
at work, restarted computer and black screen with a prompt
saying "Primary hard disk drive 0 failure" "strike the f1 key to
continue,F2 to run the setup utility" Striking the F1 key does
nothing but repeat the message. F2 will take me to setup....
What should I do ? How do I fix this ?What did I do wrong?

The events were likely coincidental. Go into BIOS setup and see if the drive is recognized - if it is not, open the case and reseat the cables. If the drive still isn't recognized, chances are good it has failed. Replace it, reinstall WIndows and patch it, and restore your backups.

Most likely, F2 or DEL at startup.

Sounds like the drive is dead - replace it.
