Problem using Memorex Pocket CD-R's

We use Pocket CD-R's for taking pictures on our digital camera and need to access them from the cd drive.  It seems like almost every CD-R drive we put them into, will read them but when it comes time to eject the darn things they hang up in the drive.  It won't open or jams inside the drive.  Does anybody else have this issue or should we not be using the cd drives to access the files. (i.e. should we use a different , external, read only drive to access them?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use the sony mavica cd-350 and I have not experienced any problems with the small discs ejecting. You can use a paperclip to open the drive from the small hole on the front of the drive if it will not open any other way.

Hi Gordon,
My sister`s camera came with a small caddy, well lets just say I am calling it a caddy to use if the drive had problems ejecting the disc but she too has not had to use it, did yours have one? Just a thought,

Best Regards

Yeah I finally got it out with paper clip but it took several trys to get it out and the disk got thrown around as well which scratched the heck out of it.  I was later told by the lady that does our photos that it did come with some kind of adapter for the discs.  I think we are just going to look at a different option for the storage of our photos like a smart card, etc.  Thanks for your suggestion.
