The RST Service not running after installing Windows 8.1. on a Inspiron 15Z

Unknown error when trying to run the Rapid Storage Service.

Installing means what? Clean installation? Upgrade from another OS?

It was from Windows 8 to 8.1.

Its better to just download and clean install Windows 8.1 with Update 1:

Installation of drivers after a clean installation of Windows 8.1 with Update 1 will lead to superior performance.
