Reinstall Sonic - how?

How do reinstall my Sonic burner software without a CD?   Peter Leineweber Denmark

You can not.  You will need to contact Dell and request the CD.

I have the same problem, need to reinstall Sonic, But NO SONIC DISC came with my XPS 400, No point in calling for one have tried that, can't get through, so I followed advise from a post I had seen on this forum to send an email, well that didn't work, no reply. I paid alot of money for this PC, so I guess I have to go spend another 100.00 somewhere but cause I don't have the sonic software, So frusterated.

If you get a Sonic disk from Dell, you will have indeed pulled off a true miracle! I replied to another post regarding the Sonic Record Now program that so many people seem to be having problems with, but basically, in a nutshell, what I had to end up doing was uninstalling the one that was "preinstalled" on my computer and installing a full version that a friend of mine got when she purchased her laptop.

I had posted on this forum about Sonic software, on 1-19-06.

So on Jan 28, I thought I would try Dell chat, since phone calls and email didn't work, they promised me the sonic software would be sent out, lots of apoligies and an order#, so I printed the chat session and waited for cds to arrive and when they didn't I contacted chat again, chat said previous agent didn't submitt the order correctly and thats why it never arrived, so order was again replaced just a few minutes ago, will post back here it Sonic software arrives.

Update on my request for the Sonic cd. It arrived about 5 days ago.  Shame on Dell for waisting my time, and their employee's time; Dell should have just shipped the required cd's to begin with; they didn't waste anytime getting me my PC had it in 48 hours, I suppose they shipped it so fast, was so I wouldn't have time to have buyers remorse. Did you ever find a solution to your problem?  I know this post is old, but I've been having the same problem with my Dell since I bought it last year.
